There are many versions of this recipe, feel free to play around with the spices and get to know their properties! 1 cup Basmati Rice (or other grains, quinoa, millet, barley) 2 cups split Mung Dal (split yellow) or lentils if you can’t find split mung 7 cups (approx.) Water a bit of Salt 2 Tbs. ghee 3 tsp. Mustard Seeds 2 tsp. Cumin Seeds or Powder (not if constipated) 2 tsp. Turmeric Powder 2 tsp. Coriander Powder 2 tsp. Fennel Powder Heat ghee in pan and add spices, except turmeric (it burns easily), let the spices toast for 30-45 seconds in the pan, add turmeric, toast for 10 seconds. Add rinsed rice and mung dal and water. Bring to near boil, turn to low, let simmer for 30-40 minutes. Garnish with fresh cilantro and a squeeze of lime. Organic Cocoa 4 oz Cinnamon Powder 1/8 teaspoon Cardamom 6 Pods Crushed Rosebuds 6 Ghee or Coconut oil ½ teaspoon Organic Raw Sugar 2 tablespoons Water or Milk or Heavy whipped cream 12 oz Procedure • Toast all the ingredients in medium heat. • Then add 2 tablespoons of organic raw sugar and toast for 5 minutes. • Add boiled water or heavy whipping cream or milk and cook it on slow fire till it is done. Enjoy your Bliss!!
